SAMPARKA (Software Application for Migrated Person to Assam for Rejuvenating Karma Abhiyan) is a new initiative by the P&RD department to maintain records of the migrant workers returning to the State from different parts of the world. The entire country along with the rest of the world is reeling under the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon the lockdown being imposed not only in India but the entire world , many workers from different parts of the globe have returned to the State. Some workers have also returned to their home district from other districts within Assam. Hence, the P&RD Department ,with an initiative to keep track of all the people coming to Assam and helping them with employment opportunities , has come up with this noble concept.

SAMPARKA has been designed and developed wherein the information of the migrant workers are being recorded using various parameters duly filled by the migrant workers. The parameters include the Country/State/district from where they have returned, their skills, age and other related parameters. The online portal is accessible to all . All the migrant workers are asked to register themselves on this platform for job opportunities and skill training and therefore contribute towards this noble initiative.
